H-7. RIMLESS BRODIE HELMET MK 1: Maker: HV over 321 (have not been able to identify “HV”). Some minor mothing to the felt. The paint job we believe to be a medic or stretcher bearer, as it forms a cross on the top. This is a very early helmet in very good condition. $750.00

H-14 . BRITISH RIFLE REGIMENT BOER WAR WEDGE CAP: Typical style worn by Officer’s during the BOER WAR. Black braid around bottom edge, one frayed area on the right side. Was badged at one time. Victorian Crown over strung horn buttons. These are quite RARE. The interior lining is split on the wedge seam. “311” in white is written inside. $350.00

H-15. BRITISH/CANADIAN OFFICER’S SEAL-SKIN WINTER CAP: This style was worn during the Crimean War. There is a picture of an Officer wearing such a cap on page 38 of Osprey’s Men-At-Arms series “The British Army of the Crimea”. This cap is of a later period, possibly 1880’s. Black quilted liner with seal-skin fur ear flaps. This is the type of private purchase an Officer would have worn on the march to the NORTHWEST REBELLION. Very Rare. $750.00
