UF-1. NEWFOUNDLAND ARTILLERY UNIFORM OF EVELLY BAGGS LORENZEN: 59TH Heavy Regiment) Tunic, Pants and Kit Bag of Lorenzen all named in his own hand. Tunic is dated June 1942 with his hand written name “E B LORENZEN”. The pants are undated but retain the same “E.B. LORENZE” signature. The kit bag has his name “B. LORENZEN, LT. R.A. “&” 23 BTY”. A beret has been included which was not the property of Lorenzen but is the same as he would have worn. Also included is his Service File. He was awarded the 1939-45 Star, France and Germany Star and Defence Medal. All are in excellent condition. No mothing. The stitching on one cuff has come undone. Only 2,343 men served in the Newfoundland Artillery. Because of the catastrophe at Beaumont Hamel in WWI, the Newfoundland Government would not permit soldiers to be recruited for the infantry. $4500.00

SOLDUF-2.  ROYAL CANADIAN DRAGOONS UNIFORM NAMED TO “BERLOW”: Written in tunic and pants. Complete with black beret, large pack with “L” straps and gaiters as well as shirt, which is in rough shape. UF-4. CANADIAN PADRE UNIFORM OF ‘M.A. LAVERTY”: Comprises of tunic, pants and cap. All in excellent condition. Maker: Skitch Clothes, 9 Adelade St. E., Toronto. He enlisted in 1942 as an Army Chaplain, serving with the troops in Europe. A brief biography is included. $850.00

UF-10.  UNIFORM OF GEORGE RAMSAY DARLING ROYAL CANADIAN ARTILLERY :    3rd DIV. 14th RCA: Darling was a “D” Day veteran landing on 6 June. He was also mentioned in Dispatches for Gallantry in Northwest Europe. The tunic and pants are not named. However, this uniform was purchased directly from the Darling family. We obtained his Service File which is included, along with other personal effects. There are a bunch of negatives of photos; some of him taken during the war. The Darling name is on the envelopes. Maker: MasterCraft Uniform Co. Ltd. Dated 1944. Pants made by “MARITIME PANTS MFG. CO> LTD. Dated 1944. Beret Grand Mere Knitting Company Ltd. Dated 1944.   $950.00

UF-14.  ROYAL CANADIAN CORPS OF SIGNALS 5TH Division.   Named to E.L. TREAGUS. Tunic Maker “S.STALL & SON LTD. WINNIPEG MAN. Dated 1944. Comes with a silver bracelet with his name and serial number and R.C.C.S. with a very moving inscription on the back: “Loving you always your wife Rose”. Dated 29.9.43. Comes with his Service File. Treagus was Mentioned in Despatches “for Gallant and Distinguished Services”. He was awarded the 1939-45 Star, France & Germany Star, Italy Star and Defence Medal C.V.S.M. and clasp.   $950.00

UF-18.   CANADIAN NURSING SISTER:  M Van Scoyoc. Tunic and skirt. The name is on a label on the skirt. Margaret Van Scoyoc joined the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corp in 1942. She served in England France Belgium and Germany. A copy of her obituary is included.   $450.00

UF-21  U.S. CIVIL WAR ERA TUNIC- Grey with green, plain nickel buttons. Machine and hand stitched. Small size. Most probably for a military school or militia unit. There are very few tiny moth holes on the sleeves. Buttons are 3/4 inch. There is nothing written on the buttons. These buttons are open back.  $375.00

UF-26:  CANADIAN HIGHLAND DRUMMER'S DOUBLET:  WWI Period. Very Good Condition. Missing buttons from the Inverness skirts and cuffs. Maker: "MACK's McKERRACHER - WANLESS LTD., Rideau & Sussex St. S. Ottawa". They started business in 1914. The buttons are the standard "Canada" buttons as used in WW1 and WW11.  $250.00

UF-27:  SECOND ROYAL LANARK MILITIA CAPTAIN'S TUNIC:   Circa 1880-1902. Two pips on the collar indicate a Captain.  Lining has deteriorated quite badly, however, the outer doe-skin tunic is exceptional. Lanark Militia was founded in 1798 around Glasgow. Raised by Sir D. Carrick-Buchannan in 1854 was a Second Militia Regiment, the 2nd Royal Lanarkshire which was divided into two battalions in 1897.   Sterling Silver buttons with "SECOND ROYAL LANARK" with Regimental Crest and Victorian Crown.   $650.00

UF-28.  CANADIAN WWI TUNIC 217TH BATTALION: Warrant Officer with 2 Wound Stripes. The 217th was raised in Moosomin, Saskatchewan 15 July 1916. They were absorbed into the 15th Reserve Batt.as reinforcements for the Canadian Corps. They had Battle Honours for Amiens & Arras (also known as Qu’appelle BATT. C.E.F.).
